Live Music: BESER: Original Music Night with Mau Jimenez

A different kind of night at Awaysis Rio Bar.

Mau Jimenez steps away from the covers for a special performance devoted entirely to BESER, his original music project. Mau launched BESER in 2019 after years of performing and recording with other projects, creating music that is more personal, original, and unmistakably his own. His songs cross between English and Spanish, with releases on Spotify, Apple Music and other platforms, and performances that have taken BESER from Puerto Vallarta to Sofar Sounds in Toronto and Zurich.

This is a chance to hear the singer, songwriter and guitarist behind the songs perform them the way they were meant to be heard: live, intimate and in his own style. Mau has spent more than 17 years making music, and BESER remains the project where his songwriting takes center stage.
