Play a round or 2 or 3 of the most exciting fast paced game in PV – SPOONS!
How to Play Spoons:
Setup: Place spoons in a small circle in the center of the table (one less than the total number of players).
Deal: Each player is dealt four cards.The Goal: To get four cards of the same rank (e.g., four Aces or four Kings).
Passing: The dealer takes one card from the deck, decides to keep it or discard it to the player on their left, then picks up another card, repeating quickly. Players pass unwanted cards to their left simultaneously, trying to make a set.
Grabbing Spoons: Once a player has four of a kind, they take a spoon from the table.
The Rush: Upon seeing a spoon taken, all other players must scramble to grab one of the remaining spoons, even if they don’t have four-of-a-kind.
Losing the Round: The player left without a spoon receives one letter.
Winning: The last player remaining, who has not spelled S-P-O-O-N (or S-P-O-O-N-S), wins.
